About Shraddha
My journey with henna began when I was just 12 years old, at my mausi’s wedding. My mother used to apply simple henna designs for the ladies in our family, and watching her sparked my curiosity. Being naturally drawn to art, I couldn’t resist trying it myself. I started doodling on guests’ hands, and to my delight, they loved my little creations. Soon, anyone visiting our home wouldn’t leave without a touch of my henna!
Cultural significance
Growing up in India, henna was an integral part of every festival, special occasion, and memorable day. Deeply rooted in tradition and faith, this cultural significance profoundly influences my work, ensuring each design reflects the heritage and artistry of henna.
